Outside Art Weekend Adventure Policies for Wades Point Inn
Most workshops are held at the Wades Point Inn unless otherwise indicated. All workshops are subject to availability and minimum capacity requirements. Reservations and pre-registration required. Booking and reservations at the Inn are separately priced and the responsibility of the workshops participants. Inn cancellations are also the responsibility of participants. Please preview Wade Point Inn’s cancellation policy before booking. Outside Art Overnight Adventures and the Wade Point Inn book quickly, so please call in advance!
All art media is provided for use during the workshop, but not for participants to take home, unless otherwise indicated. Canvases and art surfaces with participant artwork on them are exempt from this.
Transportation is not provided if the workshop is off-site, unless otherwise indicated.
Reservations required for all workshops by calling 410 212-9320. A half-down, non-refundable deposit for the entire party is required in order to secure a workshop date. Registration forms for all workshop participants (on bottom page) are also required at this time. Workshop reservations will not be held without this deposit and registration forms. Inn reservations must be made separately and are the responsibility of the workshop participants. Call (410) 745-2500 to make your reservation at Wades Point Inn today! You must inform the Innkeeper that you are participating in Outside Art Adventures for special rates.
Meals are the responsibility of the workshop participants, for the Sunday morning Catering and Critique. Please speak with your Innkeeper regarding other dining options. In is the responsibility of the participant to communicate any special diet needs on the registration form so that proper food options are provided at the Catering and Critique buffet.
All workshop times, locations and rates are subject to change and/or cancellation. Most workshops require at least two participants and boating workshops require at least four participants in order to be held. In the event of inclement weather, every effort will be made to relocate workshops to an interior or sheltered location before cancellation. Boating workshops may be cancelled in the event of inclement weather, or unsafe boating conditions. In this event, registrants will have an alternative non-boating workshop. In the event that Outside Art Adventures cancels a workshop on its own volition, registrants will have the option of a refund no greater than the individual value of the cancelled workshop(s) or a credit for a future workshops. Cancellations on the part of workshop participants are non-refundable.
It is the responsibility of the registrants to be present at the workshop’s starting location on time. Transportation to off-site workshop location is not provided unless otherwise indicated.
Since Outside Art is a mobile activity, workshop participants may not be able to find the class if they arrive late, especially when held on the water. It is not the responsibility of the workshop facilitator to find late participants or save materials for them in the event of their absence at the beginning of a workshop. There are no refunds or credits given for this instance, except for in case of emergency or extenuating circumstances. There are not prorated fees, credits or refunds for any absences either.
Some workshops require physical activity such as walking, standing for long periods, and rowing. Please make sure you understand the level of strenuous activity and your own physical capabilities before registering for a workshop. It may not be possible to provide participants to a place of rest, or return participants to the Inn after workshops commence.
A half down deposit is required at least two weeks prior to weekend workshops in order to secure your registration. Final payment must be received by Outside Art /Aesthetic Alternatives by the day before the scheduled workshop day.
