Outside Art Adventure!

Outside Art is a “plein air" (outdoor) art and environmental education program in Maryland, offering small group lessons, after-school programming, teacher resources, and workshops for aspiring young artists, Girl Scouts, teachers and adults.

With the integration of visual arts standards and inquiry-based environmental education, Outside Art programs and teacher resources encourage students to study, discover and communicate their understanding of nature through the art process. Artists have opportunities to create with sophisticated media, learn professional art elements and techniques, and creatively express their own unique view of the world while discovering nature. Outside Art Workshops, lessons and resources are designed and taught by Dawn Malosh, B.S.Ed., a nature artist and art educator. For nearly two decades, she has facilitated the artistic growth of thousands of blossoming artists.
